T’was the night before Christmas 1983…

“Did you hear that!?”

“Where’s the truck?”

“Follow the truck!”

For 35 years, our Christmas Eve traditions have centered around ‘the truck’ strolling up and down our streets, spreading holiday cheer for all to enjoy.

Let’s make it 36 years!

Our Mission

To continue our neighborhood tradition for the 36th year in a row, using our event as a way to bring our local communities together to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season on Christmas Eve night.

In December 2018, with less than 24 days to spare…

  • We worked together as a community to #savechristmas - resurrecting the event for the 35th year!

  • We joined forces with local media outlets to spread the word, making a call for volunteer support and fundraising efforts.

  • We aligned over 150 volunteers to help with everything from parade float repairs, route maintenance, vehicle driving, acting, singing, clean-up and more.

  • We raised approximately $17k via an on-line GoFundMe campaign and local neighborhood flyer distribution along the parade route.

We need your support!

Without significant fundraising in 2019, this event will not be possible.

  • Despite our fundraising efforts in 2018, the actual cost to produce the event was nearly triple the amount of our donations (not including the cost of the initial asset acquisition).

  • Our 2019 GoFundMe Campaign and on-line Volunteer Sign-Ups will launch on Friday, November 1st. Please join our mailing list to stay updated on all things relating to our 2019 event.

  • Our Board of Directors has been formed; and, our 2019 Quarterly Board Meetings are in effect as we are working hard at planning our 2019 event. For questions/comments, please contact us and we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

  • On August 19th 2019, our organization was granted Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Public Charity 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) status (EIN 83-2662363). Our donors can deduct contributions made to our organization under IRC Section 170. Our organization is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522. Request your 2018 Tax Donation Receipt here.
